A Breath of Spring Yoga Retreat

Spring is coming, and that means longer days, warmer sun, and rising sap. Take a brief step away from your daily routine, and let’s reawaken together from our winter hibernation and move in harmony with the season of slow expansion. Nature, nourishing food, rest and reflection, plus a mixture of active and passive yoga practices will help you find balance and melt away the winter chill. You’ll have plenty of free time to hike, wander the woods or be still while watching the river flow. Emerge from the weekend feeling awakened and refreshed.

Housing Options:

We will spend our time together in several houses available to our group. Towels and linens are provided as part of your housing and all beds are twins. All housing options include shared bathrooms.

  • Shared Room with 2 or 3 people – $450
  • Private Room (only 5 available) – $525
  • Roommate requests will be met to the best of our availability and should be noted in the registration form. Room options will fill on a first come, first serve basis. Please complete the registration form to request your room preference.
  • Price is per person with specified occupancy.

Refund Policy: There are no refunds after February 22 but retreat may be transferred to another person. Refund requests before February 22 are subject to a $75 fee.

Sevenoaks Retreat Center is located just outside of Charlottesville, Virginia and is approximately 60 miles from Harrisonburg, VA.

A Breath Spring Yoga Retreat





Suzanne McCahill Perrine

Suzanne began teaching Yoga in 2005 after over 10 years of teaching dance and Pilates. Inspired to connect to others in her community and spread the joy and healing potential of yoga, she opened The Center, Harrisonburg’s first dedicated yoga and Pilates studio. After two years of study in the Anusara Yoga tradition, Suzanne felt a strong desire to encourage her students to have fun, relax, and enjoy the splendid journey that yoga offers them both on their mats and in their lives. Her teachings fuse inspirations received from every-day life, poetry, poignant articles, or current events with a solid bio-mechanical awareness and therapeutic alignment based asana. This combination helps students to get in touch with their bodies, replacing discomfort and fear with awareness and love, and elevates their appreciation for their bodies and the full spectrum life’s offerings. Her classes can be uplifting, humorous, and playful, or meditative, internally focused, and subtle. Suzanne continues to find more joy in her life since discovering Yoga and meditation and sharing it with others. She is also eternally grateful to her family, friends and teachers who have helped to pave this incredibly beautiful path.

Debbie Glick Phillips

Debbie discovered yoga through her love of connection: inwardly-within the body, heart and spirit, as well as outwardly in relationships with other beings and with Mother Nature. Her time spent studying religion at the College of William and Mary fostered a life-long interest in a person’s deeply-held spiritual beliefs, ‘that which makes them tick. In the yoga studio, these interests and desires come together in one uniquely powerful experience. After practicing for many years at The Center with Suzanne and other inspiring instructors, Debbie completed her 200-hour Teacher Training at The Center in 2017. She is honored to share yoga in an atmosphere of fun, patience, tolerance and wonderment! She teaches Yoga 1 and Yin Yoga at The Center in Harrisonburg. She lives with her family on the Shenandoah River.
