Trauma-Informed Yoga is an evidence-based practice that mindfully considers the mental health of individuals and competently tries to create safe spaces for all to explore yoga and meditation. In this 6hr workshop we will learn an introduction to brain and nervous system development, define trauma and disorders, as well as learn the role of yoga and how to apply the technique to various populations impacted by traumatic experiences.
This workshop is for yoga teachers, therapists, trauma survivors, and anyone desiring to learn more about healing modalities for trauma disorders. CEU’s available for all certified yoga teachers,
Whitney Ingram leads this workshop as a trauma survivor who has used yoga and meditation as her main modality of therapy for over a decade. She is a seasoned yoga teacher with experience teaching many populations, and her lived-in applied experience offers an authentic perspective on trauma-informed yoga.
Space is limited for this special in-person event.
